Pneumatic 4” Bottom Outlet Valve with Steam Heating

The 4” pneumatic bottom outlet valve is a robust and reliable solution for tank trailers and tank containers used for the transportation of liquid, viscous, or temperature-sensitive products. The valve is pneumatically operated and EN 14432 approved for use on transport tanks.

The valve is installed at a 45° angle relative to the tank. This positioning promotes an efficient product flow and helps guide the cargo towards the outlet during unloading.

Pointed Cone for Improved Product Flow

The valve features a specially designed pointed cone. The pointed shape is designed to penetrate the cargo, allowing the valve to open more effectively through viscous or more solidified product.

This helps to break through the product and clear the flow path, resulting in improved and more consistent product flow during unloading.

The combination of the pointed cone design and the 45° valve position makes the valve particularly suitable for products that are more difficult to discharge from a tank.

Integrated Steam Heating

The valve is equipped with a 3/4” steam connection, allowing the integrated heating chamber of the valve to be heated with steam at pressures of up to 8 bar.

The valve can reach operating temperature in approximately 10 minutes, depending on the steam pressure and operating conditions.

This is particularly useful when transporting products such as chocolate, fats, oils, and other temperature-sensitive or viscous substances. By heating the valve before unloading, product residues are prevented from solidifying and restricting the flow.

The result is a faster, smoother, and more reliable unloading process.
